How the Sufi Saints have spread Islam in South India

It is nice to see your website with various articles with the life sketches of Mashaykh and Saliheen.

My native town is Kayalpatnam, Tamil Nadu, South India (from Arabic it came [Kahir - Fathan]) and our ancestry root goes back to the Qahira in Egypt. Our ancestor came from there before 1000 years and chain of Islamic saints with groups came to our town in various centuries with the order of Holy Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) to propagate islam in India.

In our town, we mostly have Qadiriyya and some Shaduliyya tariqa. There are numerous saints who lived in our town at various times.

My great grand father was also a saint and got the lineage from His Holiness Jiffri (RAL) of Kerala (around 1200-30 A.H) with it roots to Hazrat Imam Al-Haddad (RAL). Both of them are Qutub-Zamaan.

In our Tariqa, we used to recite Raatib-Al-Haddad Shareef on every Monday (Sunday Evening) and Raatib-Al-Bukhari Shareef on Friday (Thursday Evening). It is going on now for more than 200 years continously. Alhamdu Lillah.

And we used to recite the Qasida 'Ya Lateef Lam yazal ultuf bina fi maa nazal …' and there is a line quoting about His Holiness Imam Aydarus (RAL). And also, Wird-Ul-Lateef. I heard about the Qaramaat (miracles) of Imam Aydarus (RAL).

Now, from your site. I found various articles that are most worthwhile. I look at the Dr Mostafa Badawi translation about Our Imam-Al-Haddad-Alawi (RAL). I'm interested in all the books of Imam (RAL)

Can I have any free Version of Our Imam AL Haddad (RAL) books, articles and their lineage, if any. Or please route me to appropriate place to get that.

We are very pleased to hear from you and to know about your blessed and saintly sufi lineage. The noble work that you and others are doing in Tariqa Qadiriyya, Tariqa Shadhuliyya and among the Ba Alawi will surely bear fruit and Islam will spread more and more in South India and in the rest of India, Insha Allah, Amin.

The recitation of Bukhari Sharif, Ratib al-Haddad, and Wird al-Latif has many benefits, both here and in the Hereafter. Their baraka (blessing) is spreading, Alhamdu Lillah.

You are right. The karamat (miracles) of the awliya (sufi saints) are many. We are in good company, Alhamdu Lillah.
